What is 'Two-Step-Verification' and how does it work?
The Two-Step-Verification is an additional safety feature that aims to safeguard our users' data. It does so by asking users to authenticate their identity, using their mobile contact number.
To utilise this feature, users can simply link their mobile phone number to their 360WORK account. Following that, each time a user attempts to log onto their account, or make a financial withdrawal from their account, they will receive a new verification code on their mobile device which can then be used to verify their authenticity.
Please note that while this feature is an optional add-on, we encourage everyone to utilise this feature, as it will assist in safekeeping of all their business, personal and financial details.
How does the Two-Step-Verification work?
In order to activate and use the Two-Factor-Authentication, you need to follow a few simple steps.
Step 1 - Go to your Account Settings. Click on the Privacy Settings option and turn on the slide-button for the 'Two-Step-Verification'.
Step 2 - Enter your mobile phone number and select whether you would like the Two-Step-Verification to apply when logging in, making withdrawals, or both. Click on the Setup button when you're done.
Step 3 - You will receive a 7-digit Verification Code on your phone number. Enter the Code in the Two-Step Verification dialogue box in your 360WORK account, and click on Verify.
Step 4 - Go back to the authentication text message that you received in Step 3. Click on the link that was sent with the text message (from Authy).
Step 5 - Download the Authy app and follow the on-screen instructions to set up the Authy application on your mobile phone.
You're all set!
Now each time that you want to log onto your 360work account, and/or make withdrawals from your account, you will be forwarded a new Authy code which you can then enter in your 360WORK account.
