DESCRIPTION

This is a prime opportunity to join a growing company developing unique solutions for AI enabled visual processing.

The Unity Test Engineer will be part of a team developing a full suit of unity test for a simulator aimed at the production of training data for neural network training. Responsible primarily for the writing of automated tests there will also be opportunities to expand the testing framework.


This role will be working on the creation of automated tests and will involve collaboration with the development team on the definition of new features.


Requirements:

  • 1+ year’s hands-on experience of testing
  • 1+ years’ experience using Unity
  • Strong C# and .NET scripting skills
  • Exposure to the management of Unity assets using C# scripts
  • Good oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a distributed team
  • Experience in either an automated testing environment or proven critical analysis skills
  • Experience using NUnit or equivalent  (Bonus)
  • Comfortable in Windows or Linux

Personality qualities

As a Senior Engineer you will create development plans for your work and track the execution of the design work to the plan. Report development progress to management.  A strong interest in creating behaviourally driven, self-governing worlds is a bonus.


  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a distributed team
  • Propose and implement solutions for product requirements in response to technical market requirements
  • Create testing plans for your work and track the execution of the design work
  • Report development progress to management

Qualification

Good technical degree (BSc, MSc, BEng or MEng) in computer science or equivalent experience.
